StablecoinPro

About & methodology

Built in Europe. For Europeans. Calm, confident, clear.

StablecoinPro is being built as an independent comparison site for crypto-curious Europeans — focused on MiCA-compliant stablecoins and the best EU-accessible yield, without the noise of global crypto media. We’re publishing the methodology and the database first, before we publish anything else.

We are not a wallet, an exchange, a custodian, or a regulated investment adviser. Everything you read here is for information — never personalised advice.

PRE-LAUNCH

This is day one. The site you’re reading is the v1 of a project being built in public — methodology first, audience second.

Our mission

The first question isn’t “which token will moon?” — it’s “which one is legal, regulated, and won’t disappear from my wallet in six months?”

That’s the question this site answers first, on every page

European colonnade

What we stand for

Five rules we won’t break.

Regulatory clarity first

We never recommend a non-compliant product without a clear, prominent disclosure. MiCA status sits above price, yield, and brand on every screen.

Simplicity over completeness

We surface the right information, not every piece of information. The reader’s confidence is worth more than our scroll depth.

Trust through transparency

Every methodology is public. Sponsored placements are marked unmistakably, sector-relevant only, and have zero influence on bands or scores — the ad policy is public, rejections are logged.

EU-native perspective

Built for European users, regulators, and tax codes — not translated from a US template. Every country guide is written or reviewed by a local.

Accuracy over speed

We will publish a MiCA approval an hour late and correct, rather than first and wrong. Yields are static editorial figures from each platform’s public rate sheet, not a live feed.

Who’s building this

One founder, day one.

No board. No investors. No press deck. The team page will fill in as the project earns the right to fill it.

Building soloAgent-assistedOpen to collaboratorsEU-based

Most “About the team” pages on crypto sites are aspirational fiction. This one isn’t going to be. I’ll add a real bio here once I’m comfortable putting a name on a database that’s still being verified.

The project is being built in the open. If something on the site is wrong, the right person to tell is reachable below — and it’ll be me reading the email.

One person runs the register with an agent-assisted workflow: software agents crawl the official registers and draft updates, the founder reviews every change. Nothing is published, sent, or re-scored without human sign-off.

Want to help build this? Writers, EU regulatory people, researchers — get in touch.

Methodology · Updated 17 May 2026

How the data on this site is produced.

Fully public, so any reader, regulator, or competitor can audit our work. Gaps go to research@stablecoinpro.eu.

1 — MiCA status

For each stablecoin, MiCA status is one of: MiCA Compliant (an authorised e-money token), Not a MiCA EMT (regulated under another regime, absent from the EU register, or a non-EMT instrument), or Not Authorised (outside MiCA — delisted, no licensed issuer, or under an enforcement action). Status is checked against the ESMA MiCA register and the relevant national competent authority, cross-checked against the issuer’s own filings.

The dataset is static and verified against primary sources — not a live feed.

2 — Reserve data

Reserve composition is taken from the issuer’s most recent third-party attestation or audit. We display the report date and auditor inline on every stablecoin page. If an issuer publishes monthly attestations, we use the latest; if quarterly, we mark older data as such.

We do not assume good faith. If an issuer’s last attestation is more than 90 days old, we flag the coin “Stale Reserves” and downgrade its peg-quality score.

3 — Yields & corrections

Yields are gross APR from each platform’s public rate sheet — static editorial figures, never scraped feeds. Corrections are published in the open with the original error preserved. If we got something wrong, the correction is one email away: research@stablecoinpro.eu.

Ad policy

Sponsors never touch the scores.

Every sponsored placement on StablecoinPro carries the mono label SPONSORED — never in rankings, scores, heroes, or dropdowns. Ads are sector-relevant only, booked from a whitelist of stablecoin-adjacent products, with a maximum of one slot per viewport, fixed reserved heights, and first-party delivery without trackers.

Sponsors have zero influence on bands or scores. The policy is public, and rejections are logged in the open — see the public changelog.
